Steel is my big teddy bear. He is very muscular and has an incredible headpiece along with beautiful movement. He began his show career at 3 months in the novice puppy ring, and then went on to steal the hearts of the judges to earn his Champion Title at 12 months. He is an ARBA Master Champion and was also the #1 pointed American Pit Bull Terrier in ARBA for 2003. Steel gave me the best present, on my birthday when he became a UKC GRAND Champion, earning his last leg in a class of 14 gorgeous champions in Bel Air Maryland .  A special thanks to honorable judges  Francis Geiger, Corlis Goold, Rene O’ Donnell, and Debra Mitchell for recognizing and rewarding the wonderful qualities in my sweet baby boy. He is the first GRAND Champion at Patch O' Pits and I'm very proud of all of his accomplishments.

Steel earned his Canine Good Citizen Award and Therapy Dog Certification in 2003. He works at a local hospital with cancer patients to help brighten their days while they have to be away from home.  He also enjoys visiting the doctors and nurses!

His favorite pastimes are chewing holes in his ball, playing in the mailman’s truck, visiting the neighbors, and sleeping in my bed. He is gentle soul and seems to be under the strange impression that he is a lap dog. Steel is truly a breed ambassador, and loves attention from everyone he meets.

2002:

~ In Movavia, NY on 5/11: Puppy class 1st and Reserve Best Male under Karen Branchaeu.

~ In CT on 6-1: Puppy Class 1st and Reserve Best Male under Judge Cheryl Larum.

~ On 6-29 in Freehold, NJ: Best Male under Judge Jim Jones and also wins his class & Reserve Best Male under Dennis Blinckenstaff.

~ On 7-14 in NJ: he wins his class and Reserve Best Male.

~ On 7-20 in Moravia, NY: Best Male under Judge Pamela Moore and on 7/21 Steel becomes a Champion winning Best Male and Best of Winners under Judge Eleanor Maine.

~ On 9/8 in Goshen, CT: Reserve Champion under Judge Patrick O'Donnell.

~ On 9/27 in Cape May Court House, NJ Steel took his first **Champion of Champion** win under judge Francis Geiger.

2003:

~ On 10/12 in Somers, CT at the CT Classic:  **Champion of Champion** win under Judge Corlis Goold and another **Champion** win under Judge Francis Geiger.

~ Steel was the #1 pointed APBT in ARBA for 2003 taking multiple BOB and Group 1 wins.

2004:

~ In Freehold, NJ on 7/10: A Reserve CH win under Judge Ann Baughn and on 7/11 another Reserve CH wins under Judge Joe Camp.

~ In Centerton, NJ on 9/25 A **Champion of Champions** win under Judge Rene O'Donnell, Reserve Champion under Halton Davis and on 9/26 Reserve CH under Judge Tina Camp.

2005:

~ Steel earns his final **Champion of Champion** win in style in a class of 14 Champions to become a GRAND CHAMPION under Judge Debra Mitchell.
