Apache my first APBT/AmStaff was rescued at 5 weeks old. She always excels at everything she does, but when I noticed obedience training was boring her, agility was the key. During her first agility fun match, Apache took time to lick the judge, pose for pictures then zoom her way into first place. Soon after she earned her first agility title in Novice A Jumpers with Weaves. Apache even tried to break the world record for the 100 Weave Pole Challenge. She did great, but was not quite fast enough. Apache has also been a teaching assistant in the school district where I work, doing lessons on reading, writing, and dog greeting etiquette. Her favorite part of the day was being pet by hundreds of eager little hands. When she is not out in public representing her breed, Apache is home playing with her Fetch and Flash Ball, running laps around the dining room table or chewing Nylabones.
